Many fishermen (particularly sea anglers) experience heavy rains and winds during fishing and found that their current waterproofs are not quite as waterproof as they expected. this is one of the reasons that Vass developed the Vass-Tex 175 Smock to ensure the wearers are protected from the rain, wind and extreme water sprays. Unusually lightweight yet strong and remarkably stretchy (up to 25 percent) this ensures comfort without restriction when casting.

Vass purosely haven't used a winter lining in this smock so it can be used through the winter or summer leaving you the choice of layering underneath.
